Pennie’s Marketing Apprentice Journey: Chapter One

Pennie’s Marketing Apprentice Journey: Chapter One

Before joining Architectural Wallsz as a marketing apprentice, I worked as a retail assistant, where I was given the opportunity to promote products through social media. This experience sparked my interest in pursuing a career in marketing.

At Architectural Wallsz, I can balance work experience, that allows me to deal with real-life scenarios, with academic learning.

When I first started my marketing apprenticeship, Lauren was crucial in helping me develop my skills and introducing the software essential to my daily tasks. To this day, I still turn to her for assistance when I encounter challenges or when I’m unsure of how to approach tasks.

One of my first tasks was to develop a campaign showcasing an exhibition we were attending. Lauren provided examples of previous campaigns that I could use to help inspire my design. The software was new to me and I was excited to explore its capabilities. Looking back, it’s interesting to see how much time I spent on that campaign compared to now. I have more confidence in what works and what doesn’t, which allows me to achieve results more quickly.

During my time with Architectural Wallsz, my confidence has grown and continues to do so. I’m constantly developing and learning new skills vital for my marketing career. I’m gaining a deeper understanding of the reasoning behind my tasks and how those tasks will contribute to the company’s success.

I am delighted to continue this career path with Architectural Wallsz, where they continue supporting me and providing the resources for my growth. I look forward to the future with excitement and confidence, eager to contribute to our shared success. I’m deeply grateful for this journey and the opportunities it brings. I can’t wait to share more in my next diary entry.
